Risk of Explosion Leads to Recall of Sprinklers

A Minnesota company is recalling 4,000 lawn sprinklers shaped like toads because a hose inside the sprinkler can explode and cause injuries.
Midwest of Cannon Falls has received eight reports of the sprinklers exploding. No injuries have been reported, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said.
The recalled ball sprinklers are green and shaped like a bulbous toad. They have a label on the bottom with the model number 738449 508893 and the words, “Made in China.”
Consumers should return the sprinklers to the place of purchase for a refund. They can contact Midwest at 1-800-776-2075 for more information.
