Re “She’s Happily Unruly,” by Manohla Dargis (Oct. 26), I’m a woman and I can say it: Jane Campion has been able to continue to make movies only because she is a girl. “In the Cut” is a guy movie fulfilling all their fantasies. Frannie is a wet dream. Sex doesn’t mean being stupid ... well, unless Jane Campion is making her movies.
