Parents Charged With Starving 4 Boys Post Bail

A couple charged with starving their four adopted boys posted bail after spending more than a week in jail.
Raymond Jackson, 50, and Vanessa Jackson, 48, of Collingswood were taken into custody after one of their adopted teenage sons was discovered rooting through a trash can for food. Police said the boys, ages 9 to 19, weighed 136 pounds combined.
The case led the state to fire nine employees of its Division of Family and Youth Services after revelations that a worker had been visiting the Jackson home.
