Court Refuses to Block Phone Numbers Rule

A federal appeals court cleared the way for phone customers to transfer their home numbers to their cellphones beginning Monday.
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia denied the U.S. Telecom Assn.’s request to block the rule from taking effect in the 100 most-populous metropolitan areas.
