Driver Killed Hitting Wall on 22 Freeway

A Riverside man died early Sunday morning after losing control of his car on a Garden Grove Freeway offramp, authorities said.
Traver Smith, 22, struck a cement sound wall about 3 a.m. and died at the scene, said Orange County Deputy Coroner Rod Thomas. He was exiting the eastbound freeway at Fairview Street, Thomas said.
The California Highway Patrol said it could provide no further details.
