Suspect Dies After Leap From Window

A man accused of stabbing his father during an argument jumped to his death Saturday from the sixth floor of Western Medical Center-Santa Ana, authorities said.
Michael C. Kim, 33, was under police guard when he leapt out of bed, kicked out a window and jumped from his room about 5 a.m., landing on an employee patio, authorities said.
Kim had been arrested Friday and charged with assault with a deadly weapon after police received a 911 call from a woman at the Hyde mobile home park.
