My friend George Mahon and I hiked 60 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail on a four-day trip through wild country from Mill Creek Summit on Angeles Forest Highway to Green Valley. East of the North Fork Saddle area was particularly pretty. High temperatures were offset by water caches placed by kindhearted PCT trail angels.
