Sexual Harassment Suit Settled for $640,000

Owners of a clothing design firm will pay $640,000 to settle claims that they sexually harassed four women, attorneys said.
Jamie and Dana Finegold did not admit fault in the settlement reached last week. They own J.D. Fine & Co., which designs women’s sleepwear.
After quitting their jobs last year, former employees sued the Finegolds, accusing the husband of sexually harassing them and Dana Finegold of ignoring their complaints.
One woman says Finegold intimidated her into performing sex acts starting in May 2000. The father of three disputed the allegations and said they had a consensual 14-month affair.
