HealthSouth Names May as Chairman

HealthSouth Corp., the largest U.S. operator of rehabilitation hospitals, named Robert P. May chairman as it sought to emerge from an alleged $2.7-billion accounting fraud.
May, HealthSouth’s interim chief executive until last month, replaces Joel Gordon, 75, who remains on the board, Birmingham, Ala.-based HealthSouth said. HealthSouth named Jay Grinney CEO in May.
