Pot Farm Believed Tied to Mexican Traffickers

The discovery of about 12,500 marijuana plants along a remote mountain ridge is believed linked to Mexican traffickers who increasingly are looking to grow pot in the United States rather than smuggle it over the border, according to federal officials.
Drug agents seized the marijuana Monday from a site about eight miles east of Warner Springs, in northern San Diego County.
