Guide leaves out gay pride event

I was surprised and shocked as I scanned the June Festivals & Fairs listings in the “99 Days” supplement (May 27) and realized there was a serious omission. The 34th Annual Gay Pride Parade & Festival will be presented in West Hollywood on June 19 and 20.

I am sure all of the events listed are worth mentioning, but skipping the largest gay community/public event between New York and Sydney, Australia, is just bad journalism. So much for “a grab-and-go guide to everything.” Not quite!
