Man Shot to Death While Sitting on Bicycle

A man was shot and killed while sitting on a bicycle Saturday afternoon at East San Luis Street and Atlantic Avenue, Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies said.
An assailant in a dark-colored vehicle shot the man several times in the upper body before driving off about 4:25 p.m., Deputy Luis Castro said. Sheriff’s officials believe the shooting may have been gang-related.
The victim, whose name and age were not released pending notification of family, died at the scene.
