From a Times Staff Writer

A pilot injured in the crash of a small sightseeing plane near Fullerton Airport over the weekend was upgraded Monday to fair condition, a hospital spokeswoman said.

Jay Yoshinaga, 45, of Gardena remained at UCI Medical Center in Orange following the Saturday crash of his three-prop airplane. Anthony Albanese, his mechanic and co-pilot, remained in critical condition.
