Re “House Passes Energy Bill Amid Cost Concerns,” April 22: One day after President Bush took the nation’s middle and working class to task for its freewheeling ways by signing the bankruptcy reform bill, the Republican-controlled House votes to give away billions in tax breaks and incentives to those stalwarts of fiscal responsibility -- the energy industry. It’s so comforting to know our government has its priorities in order.
