Military drama’s long run was spread over 2 networks

When “JAG” signs off tonight, the show will be the longest-running military drama in TV history (which is not as impressive as it sounds when you consider how few long-running military dramas there have been).

However, “JAG” is also a member of an elite TV club: shows that aired on two different networks.

“JAG” aired for one season on NBC (1995-96) and then moved to CBS, where it became a solid performer for nine seasons.
