Snorkeler Found Dead in Underwater Cave

A college student who was snorkeling at a north Florida spring near Trenton was found dead in an underwater cave.
Matthew Ross Lund, 20, was apparently diving into the spring, and his parents said he might have hit his head on the entrance to the cave.
His body was found Saturday by other divers in an offshoot of Ginnie Springs, Gilchrist County sheriff’s officials said.
Lund’s father said his son was able to descend 60 feet and resurface without taking a breath.
