Re “Some Winter Shelters Postpone Opening,” Dec. 2

What an astounding juxtaposition! Homeless shelters can’t open on schedule for the winter because the National Guard armories are busy deploying troops to a totally unnecessary and immoral war in Iraq. I haven’t seen anything that speaks as eloquently to the moral disintegration of our once great nation. What are our priorities?
