Pakistan Accused of Violating Cease-Fire

India accused Pakistani soldiers of firing mortar shells across the line between the two sides in the disputed Kashmir region, in what would be the first violation of a 14-month cease-fire.
Pakistani army spokesman Maj. Gen. Shaukat Sultan said he was not aware of the incident.
