It should come as no surprise that “Drug War Fails to Dent U.S. Supply” (June 28). After wasting $5.4 billion since 2000, let’s finally admit that the strategy we are using to combat drug use is not going to work. And it is time we got smart and tried a different strategy: Let’s just use the dollars allocated to the drug war to better educate kids why drugs are wrong and bad for them.
