You Have to Take Shaq by Degrees

It was great to see that Shaquille O’Neal earned his master’s from a university whose only distinction is leading the Internet in pop-up ads. Perhaps he can pursue his doctorate at the equally prestigious DeVry or Bryman Institute.

The University of Phoenix is to universities what Shaquille O’Neal is to free-throw shooting.

Here’s what a “great year” means: Everyone in Florida kissed my rear end, I got paid $30 million, I’m due another $30 million next year, Pat Riley intends to sign me to a five-year extension, and the Lakers didn’t make the playoffs. Same old Shaq.
