Bicyclist Hit and Killed While Crossing Katella

A bicyclist was killed Tuesday night when he was struck by a car driven by a 17-year-old boy, officials said.
Daniel Frank Marquez, 47, of Anaheim, who did not have bike reflectors, was crossing Katella Avenue near Jean Street about 9:20 p.m. when he was hit by a Mitsubishi Lancer, CHP officials said.
Marquez died at the scene.
The driver, who was not injured, was not cited pending an investigation.
