He’s High on Downtown

Re “Crossroads Nears in Downtown Loft Boom,” June 20: I live at Bunker Hill Towers, a luxurious high-rise building a block from Disney Hall. When I moved into my one-bedroom apartment six years ago friends questioned my move.
Now I joke to those same friends that it’s like living in a five-star hotel. Oh, and I avoid the gridlock of the freeways. I am within walking distance of all my favorite places such as Disney Hall, MOCA and, of course, Central Library!
When a new supermarket does finally open, I may never need to leave downtown.
