Wrong timeline

RE “Giving Her Account,” by Gina Piccalo, Nov. 1: A quick date-check would have shown that my letter to the New York Times Book Review concerning Tony Hendra appeared before his daughter’s claims became public. Your article placing it “in the wake of Jessica’s accusations” suggests I saw a heap of trouble and piled on.

My knowledge of Tony’s private life holds steady at zero, and my nature keeps me out of other people’s family business.
