Pfizer Facing U.S. Probe of Pharmacia Subsidiary

Pfizer Inc. said the Justice Department was investigating a former contractual relationship between Pharmacia Corp., which the company acquired in April 2003, and a “healthcare intermediary.”
The department also asked for documents and information on certain physician payments related to prescription drugs, Pfizer said in a regulatory filing.
