THANK you for the trenchant article on the Getty’s trustworthiness [“At Getty Trust, the Trust Part Is Lacking,” Nov. 13]. Christopher Knight makes an important point about the $700,000 discount on a land sale Barry Munitz gave his pal Eli Broad; it could have funded many useful purposes in local art and education circles.
Good thing the Getty’s positioned to get those ocean breezes, as the smell is getting to be overwhelming.
