March Madness Spills Into April

In response to Hershel Remer’s letter criticizing UCLA fans for being content with second place, I can only suggest that he wake up and face reality.

Coach Wooden has been retired for three decades and Kareem and Walton are getting ready to apply for Social Security. To denigrate the accomplishment of this year’s young and exciting team based on some fan’s obsession with the past is a real disservice to the basketball program.

Also, Hershel, football no longer uses the checkerboard field and the flying wedge has been outlawed.
