Warp speed for rent

THE Shelby GT-H, a modern take on a 1966 Ford Mustang muscle car, is zooming into Hertz’s rental fleet. After customizing at Shelby Automobiles in Las Vegas, 500 of them will be sent to 17 Hertz airport outlets, including LAX, this summer. The company plans to charge $125 or more per day to rent the super-charged, 325-horsepower sports cars, said Hertz spokeswoman Paula Rivera. Information: (800) 654-3131, www.hertz.com.
