That sounds like U.S.A.

I found Marc Cooper’s Op-Ed article on Chile (Opinion, Jan. 18) -- a nation with “a form of ‘savage capitalism’ that operates with virtually no safety nets”; a “faltering privatized pension program”; a healthcare system “disfigured from [former dictator Augusto] Pinochet’s obsessive zeal to privatize”; and where “the military still enjoys unfair perks at civilian expense” -- to be quite remarkable.

Remarkable for how it sounds like a description of the United States.
