Former Wal-Mart CEO Quits Two Committees

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. said that former Chief Executive David Glass stepped down from the board’s executive and stock option committees.

Wal-Mart said in a Securities and Exchange Commission filing that Glass, 70, who will remain a board member, would be replaced on the executive committee by independent board member Christopher J. Williams. Glass will not be replaced on the stock option committee.
