Five Killed in Wreck of Commuter Train

A commuter train carrying 200 passengers derailed after slamming into a pickup truck at a crossing in central Israel, killing five people and injuring 77.
The locomotive and three of the train’s six cars derailed. All five of the dead were trapped inside a car that was wedged between the locomotive and an upended car.
Police said the pickup had stopped at the crossing but was pushed onto the tracks by another vehicle that hit it from behind.
