Federal Regulators OK More Enron Settlements

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission approved four Enron Corp. settlements related to the company’s power contracts during California’s 2000-2001 energy crisis.
The approval of the most recent of two dozen settlements effectively ends litigation between Enron and the city of Santa Clara, the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California and the Valley Electric Assn. of Nevada.
