Cablevision Committee to Review Dolan Offer

Cablevision Systems Corp.’s board appointed a special committee to review a $7.9-billion offer by the Dolan family to take the fifth-largest U.S. cable television provider private.
The committee consists of Thomas V. Reifenheiser and retired Vice Admiral John R. Ryan, Bethpage, N.Y.-based Cablevision said.
