Pfizer ‘Whistle-Blower’ Lawsuit Dismissed

Pfizer Inc. won dismissal of a “whistle-blower” lawsuit by a former executive who accused the company of promoting unauthorized uses for Genotropin, a growth hormone.
U.S. District Judge Joseph Tauro in Boston dismissed the suit by Peter Rost, who was a vice president of marketing at Pfizer until he was fired in December 2005. Rost said he planned to appeal.
