Marine is accused of killing prisoner

A murder charge has been filed against a Marine sergeant in the death of a prisoner during the battle in Fallouja, Iraq, in November 2004.
The charge had earlier been withdrawn against Sgt. Jermain A. Nelson but was reinstated after further investigation, officials said.
A former Marine faces similar charges in federal court in Riverside. The two are charged with killing prisoners so that they could aid other Marines in a firefight.
