I am surprised that you failed to mention whether a seat has a power outlet as a selection criteria [“Snag the Best Seat on the Plane,” Jan. 7].
On many planes, only a small number of rows in coach have power outlets (cigarette-lighter style). If the flight is more than three hours, I will sometimes take a middle seat to ensure I can plug in my computer.
