The age of happiness is now

Re “All Those Birthdays May Be Making You Happy” [July 16]: I had to smile at the timing of this article, arriving as it did on my 50th birthday.

It seems I have much more to look forward to in my advancing years, especially that 65-to-74 age range where I will be among “the least sad.”

If I find a way to turn that phrase into “the most happy” before greeting any more milestones, I will let The Times know.
