Supervisors to study Medicare drug policy

At Supervisor Yvonne B. Burke’s urging Tuesday, county officials will reexamine health department policy, which does not provide Medicare Part D prescription coverage to the elderly through county pharmacies.
Supervisors voted unanimously to direct the county executive and health department officials to report back to the board on Medicare Part D participation within 15 days.
