Mike Mooney, a 6-foot, 6-inch, 320-pound offensive lineman for Georgia Tech who had a brief NFL career with the San Diego Chargers and Houston Oilers, died March 2 at his Westminster home. The Baltimore native was 37 and died in his sleep, former Georgia Tech teammate Jim Lavin told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
