Ledger’s craft

THANK YOU for the article about Heath Ledger [“Great Acting’s Tragic Flaw,” by Charles McNulty, Aug. 4]. I don’t want to hear about what was happening in his personal life, and I don’t need to know the tragedy of his death in inappropriate detail. I want to remember Heath on his own terms, with his work and his words.

Articles like this, so insightful, help fans like me grieve in a more respectful, healthy way, rather than indulging in tabloid gossip.
