Re: “Kicking Up Sand,” [Jan. 10]: Excellent article! It seems the only time Imperial Sand Dunes gets any attention is when someone has an unfortunate accident or when tree-huggers go out to protest in hopes of closing more, if not all of it, down.
I am part of a group called GlamisDunes.com, an online community of enthusiasts who work hard to keep the dunes open.
