Re “Bush visits fire-blackened forests, extols federal efforts,” July 18
Do I laugh or cry? Or maybe throw up? President Bush comes to California to survey the horrible fire damage and tells us that “...we’re paying attention to you in Washington, D.C.”
Right. For 7 1/2 years, our president has been denying the existence of global warming, the likely reason for our drying forests, and he wants us to believe he’s paying attention? Give me a break.
