Driver killed in single-car crash

A man who authorities believe was in his late 20s was killed early Saturday when he lost control of the car he was driving on Los Alisos Boulevard and struck a power pole.
Police have not identified the man, who died at the scene.
Authorities said the accident occurred about 1:30 a.m. near the intersection of Rockfield Boulevard. They said the cause was under investigation, and it was not known whether alcohol was a factor.
