Marvel names marketing chief

Marvel Studios named former Sony Pictures executive Geoffrey Ammer president of worldwide marketing.
Ammer will work with Marvel’s distribution partners to oversee the release of movies in theaters and home video, including the upcoming “Iron Man” from Paramount Pictures and “The Incredible Hulk” from Universal Pictures.
