Re “Carolla Presents the Valley,” [March 13]: I wondered if Adam Carolla’s selections are his old remembered favorites or his current picks.
For instance: I used to love to go with my son to Fat Jacks when they had sensational burgers. Then a few years back we returned to find new owners. They did not learn the art of making great burgers.
Even worse: Dr. Hogly Wogly’s Tyler Texas BBQ was always the BBQ place around the Valley. A few years ago we were passing the area and visited. The ribs they served were stringy, dry and soaking in a watery brown sauce.
They say sometimes you can’t go back.
