From a Times Staff Writer

Showtime has ordered what it says will be the final season of “The Tudors,” with Jonathan Rhys Meyers set to return in 10 more episodes as King Henry VIII.

As with the previous 28 episodes, the final 10 will be written by series creator and executive producer Michael Hirst, Showtime said.
