Trump Hotel rooms for less in Las Vegas

Falling room rates? They’re not just for mid-priced Vegas Strip hotels anymore. The luxury destinations have lowered their rates too. The Trump Hotel Las Vegas has announced room rates almost 75% off brochure rates at the 64-story condo-hotel that cost a cool billion to build.

The deal: On select days, rates for a 526-square-foot room, the Vista Studio Suite, with a city view, start at $89. Each room has a king bed, a sleeper sofa and a kitchen. Rates are higher on some weekends and on some weekdays. (Not long after its opening in March, brochure rates started at $349 a night.) Note: This is not a casino hotel, which is either a relief or a disappointment, depending on your gambling predilections.
