Sanford Michelman is the co-founding partner and chairman at Michelman Robinson where he manages high-visibility bet-the-company litigation for financial institutions and global media conglomerates. He acts as a primary strategist for insurers and private equity firms facing multi-front disputes that threaten long-term enterprise value across international jurisdictions.
Michelman previously chaired the Audit and Risk Management Committee for the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco to oversee financial stability. Leveraging a macro-level understanding of financial risk, he directs the firm’s national footprint and the expansion of its London operations. He chairs FlyHouse and the Acceleration Community of Companies to drive innovation in private aviation and marketing. Michelman supports regional business growth through active participation in the World Presidents’ Organization and the Latin American Agents Association.
