Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland welcomes a baby boy

Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland is a new mom, welcoming a baby boy Thursday with husband Justin Miller.

The little guy’s name kind of makes him sound all grown up already: Magnus Hamilton Miller.

In a statement Friday, the couple said they were thankful for all the prayers and support they were receiving, and explained that they were “excited to take some time together as a new family.” No other baby details were provided.

Guitarist Kristian Bush is the other half of Sugarland. Nettles, 38, and Miller, a former model who’s now an entrepreneur, were married a little more than a year ago in Tennessee.

Magnus is their first child.
