As far as I can tell, you don't need to have a fixed address to get a National Police Check. You do need to have various documents, some of them, such as a drivers licence, will have an address on them, but you can have for example a password and a birth certificate, and those have no attested home address on them.
Has anyone been able to get a National Police Check completed, or know someone who has, without a fixed address? DM is fine if you prefer.

Hi everyone thank you for your input, today I've signed up for a Kia EV3 Air standard range 436km 😊
Some notes on my test drives:
Kia felt nice to drive, good vision over the bonnet and rear window, physical buttons. No spare tyre but a specific space for one.
Hyundai Kona harder to see over the bonnet, screens closely mimic a "standard" car, it has a space saver spare, have to pay more to get my >400km range.
MG ev4 Urban felt a bit small for me, dings a bit louder, physical buttons, lower price but less established network particularly for regional drives, good range.
I'm about to jump into the ev world.
I use the train as much as I can but a car is handy for some suburban Melbourne trips. Also I still want the freedom to just drive randomly into the country so looking for 400km+ range. I can charge at home and have solar panels.
I'm looking at Kia ev3, Hyundai Kona and MG ev4 Urban
Any real world experience out there? TIA

Given the rise in support for One Nation, here's a really interesting piece of forgotten Australian history.
From the 1930s to 1986, there was an Aussie Rules football competition called the Young Chinese League.
Over around 50 years, the YCL was based out of Albert Park in Melbourne, but held games all over Melbourne and Victoria.
The history is the focus of a new film that will debut at the Melbourne International Film Festival, titled Carn the Chinese!

Shortly before his second inauguration, Meta loosened its standards around hate speech, particularly on topics like gender identity and immigration, two of the far right’s favorite issues.
#Facebook is far from the only platform that’s gotten alarmingly chummy with extremists. Earlier this year, #X awarded the $1 million first place prize of its article writing contest to a proudly self-proclaimed Nazi.
In a statement, Meta didn’t address specific questions about the pages it was awarding money to, but said it was “important to distinguish between speech that is offensive and content that could potentially lead to offline violence”.
