Wenn ja: vielleicht ist es für den einen oder die andere eine interessante Option, dass Eure Inhalte von #Youtube quasi fast mit ohne Mehraufwand auch auf #Peertube veröffentlicht werden können 📺+📺

Mit der Veröffentlichung auf Peertube haben dann zum einen alle Internetuser die Möglichkeit, Eure Videos ohne Anmeldung und ohne Tracking zu sehen. Darüber hinaus können alle, die einen #Fediverse -Account haben (egal ob #Mastodon #Akkoma #Friendica usw.) dem Peertube-Account folgen und dann auch die Videos kommentieren, favorisieren und teilen.

Mit #Sepiasearch gibt es eine instanzübergreifende Suche nach Peertube-Videos : sepiasearch.org/
Peertube bietet auch eine Mobil-App für #Android und #iOS und u.a. der äußerst beliebte Android YouTube-Viewer NewPipe zeigt auch Peertube-Inhalte.

Seitdem sind einige weitere Funktionen dazu gekommen, so ist auch #Livestreaming mit Peertube möglich und wurde mit Version 5 verbessert. Mittels #Restreamer - einer #FOSS -Variante von restream.io - kann auch parallel auf Peertube & Youtube sowie auf #Twitch und weiteren Plattformen gestreamt werden: github.com/datarhei/restreamer (Danke an @𝗣𝗠𝗝 👽 für den Hinweis!)

Was hoffentlich keine überwindbare Hürde darstellt: Für ContentCreator gibt es dann auch bei Peertube wieder die (Qual der?) Wahl einer passenden Instanz. Hier ist eine kuratierte Auswahl zu finden und nach Sprache, Themen, Uploadlimits usw. filterbar: joinpeertube.org/de/instances
Einige Instanzen haben auch thematische Schwerpunkte (z.B.: punk.tube "Die PeerTube #Punkrock Instanz!") oder regionale (z.B. Dresden Network Videos, andere sind thematisch breit aufgestellt (z.B. fair.tubefair.tube/about/instance von @fairkom oder Video Cave v2 von @the_white_wolf

PeerTube is getting an overhaul +about to get a whole lot functional with great features, in freedom. PeerTube needs about 12k more to reach that €60,000 / Live streaming feature according to their milestones!

So, a free as in freedom decentralized video sharing +soon possibly even livestreaming platform. Many instances to choose from to your liking or content. The fine developers of Framasoft have a roadmap for version 3.0 of PeerTube which includes all the things one needs to start ditching the evil Youtube of Google.
